AgOpenGPS RTK Autosteer, How to Guide for £1000

I’ve gone for a junction box next the valve and the multi core cable from there up into the cab and the ampseal plug on the box of electronic gizmos. Making up and running cables now. Must be getting close!

Replacing the RDS Delta 34i on my sprayer with an AgOpenGPS Rate Control PCB which will also do auto section control for upto 8 sections (more can be added via a separate board).

There is a Rate Control App that runs ontop of AgOpenGPS:

Just connect the 3 wires from the flowmeter on your sprayer to the PCB and then connect the two wires from the flow control/pressure control motor to the PCB, after calibrating you should be ready for AOG to control the sprayer rate and sections.

The same PCB can also be used to control the rate on a seed drill, spreader etc.
Its been a while but finally got this PCB in the tractor, section control working nicely through the RC11 PCB and wired up for rate control to the sprayer.

Took some head scratching to work out if it was safe to wire the flow sensor straight to the PCB, seems ok so far.

Yes you need to flash the Teensy, if you put all those files in a folder and open the RCTeensy.ino in Arduino IDE it will open them all.

But easiest is to use Teensy loader:

And the hex file which is in the Teensy RC11 files.

With the Teensy loader, plug in Teensy via USB, you will need to press the reboot button on the Teensy, the icons should light up after this. Then choose the Hex file, click on upload and once finished click on the reboot button.

Think that’s the junction box wired and ready for mounting on the tractor.

The tails for the solenoids and the press transducer have been made off. Only the WAS to terminate insitu.

13 core cable to be terminated in the cab at the ampseal plug.

How are you guys bench testing your boards? I have the AIO GPS+Steering ECU V2.4 board. I flashed the teensy with firmware "autosteer_sps_teensy_v4_1.ino.hex" and have a green led, no middle led, and a red led lit. I hooked up the WAS to pins 1, 2, and 3 from the ampseal diagram but not sure if that is correct as I do not see any change via the AOG software.

Use the v2_5.ino.hex firmware.

You will need the correct config on the F9P for the middle led to light up.
