OK now up and running with the Aog however more than occasionally getting lost
RTK messages. Fields are still wet so mostly road trials atm. and under a few trees.
Will this be because of the distance away from the mast or will it be poor Phone signal.

I usually only get them while driving under tree canopies. By the time I look at the screen, it's already back to full RTK accuracy again.

If the RTK lost messages persist then it's usually an issue like the tablet isn't connected to WiFi/hotspot or RTK2go's servers are resetting themselves again.

Thanks think I must be near the limit for the rtk2go mast signal so not much I can do except build my own  🤣

However did wonder if it was worth buying a 4 band data sim and router if that was the problem.
Anybody use them? Sure there was a link to one here somewhere

agopen rely on the rover seeing at least 4 or 5 of the same satellites as the base station
hence the further from the base you are the less chance of seeing same satellites a due to curvature of the earth
if your under trees it wont need many to block maybe 1 or 2 satellites and rtk will be lost

Does the correction age start going up before you get the RTK lost message?

If it does then that will be some issue getting correction data to the tractor receiver. If you suddenly get RTK lost, but correction age is low then it's the receiver struggling to make sense of satellite signals.

I recall that the correction age has to be over a minute before it causes aog to complain.
