Agri buggy chemical storage.

Hello all!! As the title suggests, I'm posting about the chemical storage on the kellands Agri Buggy... Or lack of! There's no where on the machine which is adequate for transporting chemical, it normally ends up in the cab, in the tank or on the crop deflector on the front, all of which I feel dubious about doing.

So, what I was thinking was taking the front crop deflector out and creating a locking box, which would be capable of carrying chemical and a few tools, spares etc.

I was wondering has anyone ever done this before? If so how did you get on? And was it worth while doing!? Thanks in advance!!!!

Fair shout, that looks ideal. Did you make that? The crop deflector on the agri buggy has two bits of box sticking out which slide into a sleeve and then are held in with two bolts...they box isn't massive though, so I'm not too sure how much weight it would hold?

The box is also used as a deck weight when demount sprayer off. My brother @Durris Dave modified it to fit on front linkage like this. With a bit of advice from the tff faithful. I'm rubbish in workshop! The fastrac has 2.5t front linkage so not worried about hanging weight on front. As you say I'm not sure how much weight a agribuggy could handle hanging on front.

Quite a few drag a little trailer behind them round here.
Always wondered what it's like as it must be completely invisible to the driver.

Pulling a trailer around doesn't really appeal to me for some reason... I haven't got a tow hitch, but I shouldn't have though it would be a major problem to get one. It's just the constantly taking it on and off... Contracting I do quite a few single fields away from any others.

Yeah I think it is... When we had our NROSO meeting, our agronomist said it was a grey area....I can't carry it in the cab, if I carry it in the tank and have a crash it will go every where... And I don't think we're insured format either...i used to carry it on the crop deflector. So, in my opinion, it's better than that.
