Agricultural Building Conversion

Have you had any with solar tiles instead of panels, we have an old barn we are going to do but we are going to put a new steel framed roof on it first so we can live upstairs and I would like to use solar tiles instead of panels but am a bit concerned on life span of them etc
I've seen them used but never first hand; we tend to be isolated from the actual build unfortunately

Just mulling over potential conversion of our small dairy farm into 5 dwellings which I think would lend itself really well. We have about 1300m2 which is twice the maximum allowed, but maybe one shed could be converted into business unit maybe connected too rental of one of the conversions.
Any suggestions on where on earth you’d start with permitted development??
I’m not sure how difficult local council is but doubtful they’d roll over easy.
Thanks

Hi @happycows. You would be best to get a planning consultant to work on your behalf to negotiate with the local authority as you are quite right you would be well over the Class Q limit.
We are have a couple of projects similar to yours on our books and would be interested in discussing it with you. Feel free to drop me a PM or email [email protected]
