An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Agricultural Mechanic.
The successful candidate will need to plan and undertake the annual servicing of our modern equipment prior to harvest, this includes New Holland and Massey Ferguson balers and Heath chasers. You will be responsible for purchasing parts and maintaining our parts store. During the busy harvesting period you will be coordinating and undertaking repairs of machinery as well as assisting in the management of the harvesting team. This is a varied role and you will be required to operate farm machinery and assist in other aspects of our diverse business during less busy times of the year.
The right person will have good experience of modern farm equipment, be capable of working on their own initiative, have the ability to work under pressure and be happy to work long hours at key times of the year.
We will provide an excellent salary, a modern service vehicle fully equipped with tools (if required), a house, BUPA health insurance, a mobile phone and a pension.
