tucked away in this weeks was '......mirrors the trend in domestic lamb production which was down by a fifth ,year on year, in May according to defra data'

can that be true :scratchhead: .....sounds a lot :scratchhead:

Where do DEFRA get their data from???

They're always working on historical information, by the time they've crunched the numbers the 'horse will have bolted'.

I'm sure you, like me and everybody else, take infinite care when filling in their main source of information (the annual sheep return) every year :whistle:;)
