Hmm that´s a high price for 2 pieces of steel pressed together, the seed brakes from airguard is 30 euro, but probably a lot more before they are over the big sea.

yes like a lot of Needham stuff its the shipping and duty that kills it

Jacob,

you`re going to mount them on your new sprinter ?? Will you fit the sprinter with GEN-openers ??
Will the seed pass through the opener with it`s channels when most of the airstream is lost ?? Has anybody done that already ??

Yes the plan is to put them on the sprinter together with the Gen 400s.
I already have set from a Claydon on the fertiliser pipes on the co4. Got them from a Claydon user here in Denmark as Claydon didn't want to sell them to me.

Before I got them on I had problems with the fertiliser building up in the pipe from the front hopper to the drill because the air couldn't escape in the ground.

When I look at the seed placement from the Gen 400 they are not very accurate compared to the Gen 200 or the duet openers. I think it's because the seed comes out on the back of the opener and the ports is pointing slightly upwards.
The seed placement was definitely better when I turned the fan speed down, but then the outer pipes started to block.
So I'm hoping that the air vents will solve this problem.

Vaderstad are fitting a nice diffuser on their maize drills now but I think it's on the fert tubes . I didn't even bother to ask the price they just looked expensive and had vad stamped on them so they probably are .

Has ordered them from "Rimmerhus", that recently has got the Claydon import here in Denmark.

Did a test fit yesterday. I'm confident that they will improve seed placement.
