Air line tyre inflator

Need a new inflator ( trod on the old one) ? Can you get one where you set the gauge to the required pressure, hook it on and leave it to inflate, and it switches off when the tyre is inflated enough ? Is there such a thing ?
TIA

Sounds a good idea but if it fails there might be a rather large bang, and you wouldn't want to be anywhere near that! I suspect they are not available?

Sort of what I was thinking. Thought I had seen the guys do it ,down at the tyre depot, but I probably wasn't paying enough attention.

I would love something similar, can they also deflate, can't seem to find that info.

I assume so:

The Digital Automatic Tyre Inflator is the first truly portable automatic inflator/deflator.

Powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, lasting up to an impressive 15 hours

(continuous use).

Connect to airline, set the required pressure and then let this automatic inflator do the

rest (for deflating connecting the hose is not necessary).

Thanks for all replys and info everyone . On reflection, for safety reasons, I think I will buy a basic one which you have to hold.
Or you mean you seen the price and thought 'to hell with that.

I have the pcl cube here got it a few years ago, its a good job, saves having to stand around holding a lever and freezing my fingers off on a morning like this when I can be doing something else.

It wouldn't be my favourite tool in the workshop but I wouldn't be without it either.
