Yeah, is it a grazing herd you are going to look at? Be good to see some pics if you get a chance

I am not sure how serious their grazing is but they are out on pasture. It’s an Ayrshire breeders event. I will definitely take some pictures.

Yesterday the dog helpfully found a water trough running over and decided the mud looked fun

Today walked some incalf heifers home for tb testing and starting calving in a months time.

And tested the cows. Very thankful for indoor handling pens and that we tested the youngstock outside last week when it was cooler.

Yes. Probably not for every vet, but ours likes it and it makes t fairly quick/easyish. Can’t quite keep up with the parlour especially as the cows are doing their best to dry up in the heat/lack of grass.

I didn't realize you had red cows. Were you the organic pedigree Ayrshire herd that had an open day back in spring?

No .Most cows are brown and white Have been using MRI for more than 15years .Now gone back to British Friesian

Did try some Chad but I think all the females had been removed!
