We do the same here, what protein % are you using?,we were on 18% but we have dropped it back to 16 because they were very lose on it.

Shouldn't be loose on 18% and straw. mine are on 19% and hay and are spot on. Check the ingredients, must be too high in RDP and low in UDP

How does that work? Scrape everything in and the liquid runs out the end just leaving the solids or?...
When I was still in England farming and contracting I don't think anyone was on sand. Is it a pain to deal with?

just another sample if the first one was dodgy or above your payment bands? If you had a bacto of 100 on a payment sample they would test it the next day and next to that sample on the nml sheet would be FOL I think

Decided to do the feeder wagon tractor up In February. Have a few minor things left to do but it’s basically done. Done 90% of the work myself, completely underestimated the amount of work involved, glad it’s over and done with.

I’m not afraid of big hours. Traded a 6930 in just before Christmas with nearly 18k hours on it. Had it from new. Maintenance is cheaper than a new machine.

Yes, it has been. We also hadn't managed to get any fertiliser out as previous to that it was too wet! Thankfully we had liquid nitrogen on the 31st of March and the weather has changed.

Just finished measuring, 38 for the week, happy with that!
