Never looked on alibaba for agriculture stuff but I now find myself in desperate need of one of these.

If you have the winter diet right yields should stay stable?

Both herds went up here #amateurfarmer
Theyve just been on silage all winter but the grass is finally growing here so theyve been having more of it, it's been cold up until the past fortnight and half the ground has needed a week of sun to dry up before I can get near it with the spinner but the past week it has grown really well so can hopefully cut the silage out the diet completely in 10 days time

Frost is holding back growth here.
Out by day on parlour
Out day and night at robots but offering some silage before going out to night paddock.

It's just the cold here, although fairly hot in the day its bloody cold between 6pm and 10am mine have access to half an acre of grass per milking (so 1 acre a day) and ad-lib silage, they were taking 2 bales a day but that's dropped to about 1-1.5 with the extra grass

well i thought they milked really well on a 'bad' end of winter ration, and they went up on grass, looking forward to out day and night, but the cold nights, holding growth back at the moment. Still feeding hay, bale silage and maize, till it runs out, as the night ration.
Totally agree, they should not jump up much, if your ration right, not really sure why ours are being 'different' this year, certainly not complaining, just wondering why, 'cos would love to repeat another year.
I was asked if this was an early, or late spring, my 'time clock' has been thrown right out this year, not going anywhere because of covid, l would say normal spring, after thinking it was an early one

Get a relief milker 2 days a week
I've got 2 doing 5 evenings a week between them but they still need training so I've done evry milking so far, wether it be with them or without them, give it another week or two and itll be fine, everything is slowly settling in. Very quickly had to give up on the idea of me doing most of the milking, didnt leave me much time after lunch to get field work/routine stuff done before having to start up the parlour again
