Looking great. Are they just on grass?

Yes, usually around Xmas day they go onto bales and deferred grazing. But this year we will have enough grazing to go around another 14 days. Probably won't last until the PFC, but will be close. Went all AI on the cows this year and so we haven't had any R2 bulls around, made a surprising difference.Looking great. Are they just on grass?
Ahh but I'd had 11-7pm off with the family so got back late, if I'd started at 4 I would have finished by 6/half 6 but couldn't see a lot of point in front of the tv to fall asleep!
One day I'll hopefully save enough money for new sheds, robots and an army of staff but atm I make do with what I have, which is far from perfect...
Well I started scraping at 10.15 got back in a just gone 2! Cogent van in the yard 6.15 had a super Christmas Day thoughExactly that. We finished earlier last night well what a load of crap on tv.
Super boxing day
Gotta have some luckI thought the penalty was soft imo
No army of staff here just keep things simpleAhh but I'd had 11-7pm off with the family so got back late, if I'd started at 4 I would have finished by 6/half 6 but couldn't see a lot of point in front of the tv to fall asleep!

Who does your evening milking? No army of staff here just keep things simple
Who does your evening milking?
he’s got 4 staff members for that
Easy to forget the help a family/kids give when getting work red up.... it all takes time as one man band. The simple things AI a cow or two, feed a new born calve pen it up and put a cow in a calving pen etc etc all after milking and the time slips away....
Cows looking a real credit to you @Jdunn55....
Milking is shorts at Christmas. Isn't Scotland meant to be cold ?
Should be but it’s been an oddly mild one so far. Santa’s transport to milking never even marked the lawn. We’ll pay for it come spring time tho.Milking is shorts at Christmas. Isn't Scotland meant to be cold ?
Same team that does morning and afternoon and midnightWho does your evening milking?
Are they pedigree? Drop me a message if you're looking for any new genetics. We will have Herefords available next year, they are from our small suckler herd, they have never been inside and we don’t feed anything other than grass so nothing show like or flash/big but the team we have bread our selves deliver the goods. We never have luck buying bulls, always dropped in condition/etc View attachment 1154989View attachment 1154990
Daughter tried the same hereView attachment 1155295
Meant to put this up the other day - my niece was getting creative with Santas hat
One of them could have done with some hard food. Are they pedigree? Drop me a message if you're looking for any new genetics.
Mine stay out on grass most the winter, never seen hard feedView attachment 1155299
