About 20 mile from the fracking demo.
There is a lad that comes up shooting here that was hoping to let some units to quadrilla, just wondered if he was close
We're going to export it,less variables than milking.
The last day of rain we had was about 3 weeks ago. Its more like July down here rather than flipping April
There's plenty of moisture still, but the top 6 inches are like breeze blocks
It's cold wet and shitty up here,March was shite (12" of rain) April hasn't been great so far.

Same here, with a fine layer of fert sat on top not going anywhere.
Grass growth is static @ 58. Need some warm rain to wash the fert in and get it moving.
It's cold wet and shitty up here,March was shite (12" of rain) April hasn't been great so far.
We had plenty of cloud in March but little rain to go with it. Boys soil down here so a fortnight without rain and I start getting twitchy. I don't want to start drying cows off in May but needs must if I have to

It could all turn now if doesn't rain for a couple of months but for me the weather for the last 6/7 months has been near perfect.

I was getting worried but rain here today. Luckily got a load of fert out just in time to wash in
I've silage left to eat, bit if I didn't then I'd join you. Although mon/Thur after royal Cornwall I've got 380 to dry off anyhow. We're eating into neighbours silage that he wants gotten rid of. If needs be i'll just up that to counter for the lack of grass so I doubt the cows will know any different anyway. But I wouldn't mind having some of my maize silage left to give our fresh cows a kick start in a couple months time.

Plenty rain at 4 this morning on the way to work, has stopped now. Sun trying to come out but a cold wind. Grass is looking well, one farm I milk on did some first cut last week.
