Frost? On my rounds I'm noticing more and more dying shrubs. Ash trees in particular are wilting all around me now, with some leaves burnt to a cinder. But others too. Here's an ash tree dying as it's leaves are unfolding.View attachment 879486
And some ivy underneath it in trouble too.

And a sycamore and more ash.

And some birch and sally (willow) struggling on the edge of a bog.
It's rather scary that it's damaged your trees. I was getting rather excited when it had knocked my docks back, But I bet these will survive. I also think it was the frost. Not impossible.
But evergreen ivy?
And sycamore.
And hawthorn? Multiple tips dying here. Quite sheltered too, beside a shed.

The frost has taken out all the ash in our hedges, tipped chicory and clovers and taken all the leaves on some varieties of oak in my new plantation even at the bottom of tree guards. It's rather scary that it's damaged your trees. I was getting rather excited when it had knocked my docks back, But I bet these will survive. I also think it was the frost.
Interesting ... as a supplier to a mozzarella factory,
So does this mean that under a No Deal, U.K. would apply £154/100kg tariff to imports?
Personally I don’t trust Cummings at all
That's what it means unless you negotiate a trade deal then there are no tarrifs and probably no regulations.
It's all part of the game we are playing with the eu and us.
I find it astonishing that you spent millions on your dairy since the referendum, and seem surprised that this is a possibility. I think I remember correctly that you use a consultancy whose name tellingly rhymes with shite. If so, and they didn't warn you a long time ago, I am even more astonished.Yeah well I for one have had enough of both sides playing silly buggers as all it does is gives dairies the opportunity to put the frighteners on with threats of 8ppl price cuts.
Is that your collecting yard?View attachment 879647
I think we could squeeze a few more in there.
We've just noticed this Acer today dying on a bank behind our house.

And this forest flame is on its way out too.

I won't argue that the ash could have been nipped by frost. But there's more going on too.
