No groves here either. Spread carborundum grit over it and rubbed it in and then a brush finish. Followed by a concrete sealer todayJust a 5ft float on a pole. Done all the same. Seen some grooved and think it looks awful.

Concrete sealer helps slow the cure of the concrete which should help the durability of the top.Looks a smart job.

Got ours roofed today so that Monday they can chuck the guts in. 1st milking is 4 weeks time so need to keep it going

The novelty of spending 3 hours a day travelling to a ‘professional’ job more than wore off after 8 years so I see it all as opportunity rather than waste. And with 4 rows to milk I’ll hopefully have time for other businesses.
