If the farms on fire and you have to wait to listen to the rpa automatic answering man the whole fecking village would be on firebecause it creates another box to tick.
food was a valued product in his day, today it is seen ad a necessary evil, to be discouraged in favour of rewilding, releasing wild animals etc etc.Finding the bloody phone number for HSE was like trying to break into the bank of England, one of the uk's best kept secrets for some reason
God I despise this sh!t My grandad will be doing cartwheels in his grave watching me fill this sh!t out
Don`t forget the operators cert of proficiency & the sprayer test certAll my spraying is done by contractors and ive got the tickets so i shall shove them to her and hope theyre ok

Ahh the inspectors are all fine, or atleast the two I've met have been, they're only doing their jobs after allI don't find it that bad to be honest, try and find out something they're interested in and ask them questions as you're going round or just keep chatting to them about general stuff. I find that's better than meeting them in the yard with the graip in my hand
Crack onPromising rain tommorow, and now that I have my tractor fixed, was hoping to get some fert onto the grazing paddocks. I've a bag of protected urea left over from first cut. Any issues with doing the paddocks where the cows are ATM ? Ie spread this morning cows grazing this evening ?
Been told urea takes a week to uptake anyway so I tend to spread every fortnight - anything the cows have grazed in the past 10ish days and anything they will graze in the next 5 daysPromising rain tommorow, and now that I have my tractor fixed, was hoping to get some fert onto the grazing paddocks. silage pit ready for panels now

TB Testing race, panels in ready to concrete a raised floor so we are above the animals. Will be a crush at this end aswell to do our dry off crush work in
Engineer from Manchester came out. Looks to be surface cracks mainly which will wear off. 2 deep cracks which will have to be cut and filled. Structurally the concrete is sound. Too much cement in the RC45 mix so it was cooking before they laid it and water retention additive had been removed because they wanted to power float it and it would delaminate with the additive and power float. Not our choice. Bug roller would of been fine and has been used on the rest. Not really blaming anyone but the contractor and the concrete company didn’t communicate enough/properly. Fortunately when it’s full of silage they won’t be seen. What was the final view on the silage pit concrete floor.
All looks very impressive.
What height will the pit wall panels finish at
