I know more outdoor/ forage based systems that are gonna get screwed over because of this than the 3x a day AYR 1,000+ dairy units who usually have all of the lagoons/stores in place

I cannot see any unit coming out of this shambles well.

Barking mad; I am more on the conservation / wilding side of farming, but I can't see how this is going to achieve its stated aims. And that setting aside the damage it will lead to as people follow it and try to maintain their operations in different ways now. Daft beyond words and another example of the Labour WAG just making policy for the sake of being different. :banghead:

Time Wales had another referendum.. vote to get rid of the national assembly... How much extra is this Governmental shambles costing us over the days of the Welsh office? And I regard myself as a patriotic Welsh speaker.
Youā€™re way out of date - it stopped being an assembly a couple of years agošŸ‘šŸ» All opinion polls carried out recently show that support for ending devolution in Wales stands at less than 20%, so a referendum would be a pointless exercise. There is more support for independence than that.
Itā€™s a bit extreme anyway wanting to abolish a legislature just because you disagree with the party in power. Just convince people to vote for someone else

Party in power? Most of the assembly members ( or whatever it's supposed to be called) are a shambles. Some of the Tories drinking there during lockdown. My plaid Am bashing his wife during locked down.
How much extra is this extra layer of government costing Wales compared to the day s of the Welsh office? When you hear from teachers who have worked both sides of the border say that Welsh schools were superior pre devolution, but are now far behind the English schools. Probably applies to every other sector..

But the ā€œthirdā€ sector is doing blindingly well!

Welsh farmland was never designed for dairy units or chicken sheds, its for sheep, trees and rushes. Your all swimming against the tide!! Take down your sheds, sell all the machinery and get back to dog and stick farming while claiming every available eco grant.

I'll have you know that we have some exceptionally good dairy land ... and never stop growing grass year round.

But talking of tide has set me thinking ........
