Looking for replacement chains-does anyone know if there is a less expensive alternative to buying them from alvan blanch?
The mixer spat out 3 cross bars(not easy to retrieve metal spaghetti from a 1tonne mixer)
The existing chains are at maximum adjustment already.
The drive sprocket, which comes off the belt drive is also worn badly-if anyone has a mixer they are scrapping I would be interested.
TIA

God awful things when they start that.
Dirty dusty job retrieving the carnage from the bowels of a mixer.

I know someone with a mixer in working order that has to be cleared from shed soon
But it's in mid wales so a bit far away
Regards
Is it being scrapped or sold in working order?
If it was being scrapped, would it be worthwhile trying to save chains bars and gears?
What age or condition is it in?
Which model or size is it?

It's in working order
I am not sure of capacity but I know that 2 dumpy bags holding 500-600kg
and 8x25kg cake will go in only if its nearly empty
I will find out details
