Amazone adp 303 special erratic speed reading

using amadrill + control box for the above drill with electric metering wheel and am getting very erratic speed readings. changed the sensor. was fine for a short while now doing same thing. nothing looks bent or out of place. any one any ideas of the problem?

Are you on stony, lumpy ground? My super with electric metering is the same. It the wheel jumping around on uneven ground.
