Amazone or Lemken Drills

Hi all, I'm a bit of an Alpego fan with several years of success on our farms with them. I've tried virtually all of the competition over the time and nothing compares to the Alpego. Spares seem well priced against most and last well particularly when we head on to our more sandy stoney land. I've never had direct contact with their grain fert system but if it is anything like the rest of their kit, you wouldn't be disappointed! J

Weve gone for the dmax power harrow which is rated to 500hp, there is about 5.5 ton on the back, the power harrow is 4.5 ton of that bit to fair if we went for the model down it would be lighter, they a do alot of different ranges, you can even have a 3m power harrow rated over 300hp i believe!

The front tank, drill bar and rear tank all comes off in about a hour to use as a power harrow and front press for when we are working maize and pea land down, its a good set up to be fair

yeah tyres were not a problem ..have you ever changed a wedge ring ?looked at 1 second hand 1 that had 3 burst 1,s dont no how ...i take it the wedge will break heavier land better than tyres.
