Error Code #9 (scales error) constantly flashes on the screen and therefore the spreader won’t function. It is only a year old and we had to recalibrate the cells once last year. Put it on today and it won’t recalibrated and just flashes the same code. Checked the pins and cables and all seems fine. Any ideas as to what to look for ?.

Sorry, I know this is no help to you.
I'm just now trying to decide whether it's worth paying the extra for a weigh cell equipped ZA-V.
Am I right in thinking that there is no manual override if the electronics stop working?

This is one reason why I stuck to a basic machine. Would drive me mad not being able to hitch up and go spreading. And then get a big bill to fix it. Somethings need electrics a fert spinner is not one (in my eyes)

Yes your right I often say the same and get laughed at one here having a bedder with manual controls all that said I’ve just bought a fert spreader with electric controls and already starting to regret it but I want to be able to go fast and slow so that means having actuators

On our 6th season with this one and been faultless.
