She has been the scapegoat for TM's incompetence. I thought it dreadful when she was made to stand in for TM on that televised debate before the last election, being brought back from her father's death-bed to defend something she obviously didn't believe in just because TM was to nervous to do it.

She has accepted the role willingly. No doubt here description of the lack of support as a “mistake” rather than a coverup, demonstrates her desire to replace TM. So many hats are flying in to the ring there may be need for a bigger ring. Talking of big rings Cameron’s return to the front bench is being mooted. Gawd help us it could be defra!!!!!

Presumably if he wants the job, he will have to wait for a by election/general election or fall back on been appointed to the House of Lords. though the most recent holder of the post of Foreign Secretary from the Lords was in 1982.

The only government job he should ever get is with these guys.
