Annoying drone

As the title suggests, what legal grounds do you have when someone (don’t know who) keeps flying a drone over your farm yard to see what you are doing ?

Be an awful shame if while testing out that new cheap drone you just bought, it collided with and brought down the intruding drone...

"Can I retrieve my drone from your property?".

The cameras are wide angle so be careful as they see and record a lot more than you may think. Usually 4K definition too so clarity at distance not a problem.

The ones I have seen have the memory card in the drone/camera and only transmit a lesser quality of image to the operator. SSS, don’t miss and you’ll be fine.

Do these things relay pictures back to the controller?

There must be a way of detecting the controlling signals and either jamming them or taking over control of the drone, to bring it down and impound it if it's breaking the law, in which case you would surely have every right to do so.

My brother rang the garage (main dealer) because his very old car immobiliser wouldn't respond to his car key fob anymore. Nothing can be done they said. It's not worth the rave of fixing it. A quick look on eBay and he ordered a black box for a couple of quid from Liverpool which you stick under the dash and it bypasses the immobiliser and saved his car from the scrapyard. If that could be done by a bloke on a rough estate in Liverpool then I don't think intercepting the control of a drone would be too difficult.

Very difficult to intercept drone controller and many have 4k HD cameras relayed back to controller. Sadly there are no laws preventing flying over neighbour , unless it is harrasment.
If you can identify the operator, a word to the police that you beleve they have been filming your children would soon see action I believe, and there is very little they can do to prove otherwise.
