I would think that the beef and lamb side imploding like it is will won’t help red tractors desperate attempt to cling on to the payroll provided by farmers at all.Just need to get the grain buyers to dump it
Still blindly blundering on totally ignoring the members who pay his wages then. This month's CLA magazine happens to have an article extolling the virtues of RT:-
'RT is a leading food chain assurance scheme that underpins the high standards of British food and drink.'
'Around 75% of British agricultural produce is assured through RT and partner schemes.'
'The scheme provides benefits for all. It has been independently verified as a world leader in food chain assurance.'
60,000+ inspections every year
'Findings from our post inspection survey shows that our assessors are consistently rated highly, and around 90% of members believe the time taken for assessments is reasonable.'
'RT provides an opportunity for the UK to reinforce its leadership position in delivering exceptional food quality and standards that are affordable for all.'

I haven’t seen any sort of praise for them outside of there own paid staff for several years now and membership numbers are obviously in decline.
Just need to get the grain buyers to dump it
Just keep it in a tidy heap ready for recycling. Better for the environmentHad the Welsh version of the little Hitler's around last week, picked up on plastic and scrap, WTF, they can go take a running jump into that hole the English Red Tractor are digging.
They need to read their own notes of guidance.
I know an inspector who said RT for livestock was basically finished……
Just a shame the arable lot aren't walking away too. Perfect timing for it and will lose the chance soon.I know an inspector who said RT for livestock was basically finished……
I’d love to but I can’t because the cartel that are the AIC mills prevent me from selling my grain.Just a shame the arable lot aren't walking away too. Perfect timing for it and will lose the chance soon.
Farmers have been telling RT they're over stepping the mark on standards for last few years. They haven't listened, and think they've got guaranteed income, so can do what the like. Farmers are voting with their feet as individuals, and we're getting organised to be in control of the situation. No longer will RT pull the strings.Red Tractor loses beef and lamb members
Red Tractor (RT) has allegedly lost 10 per cent of its beef and lamb members over the last four years, as livestock farmers become increasingly ‘fed up’ of the additional cost and paperwork for little to no return.www.fginsight.com
According to a farmers guardian article it appears red tractor are losing significant amounts of beef and sheep members.
And the data is pre the Nov 2021 stepping up of assurance requirements.
terrible shame
