Dunno. I would crawl on my belly all the way to London if I thought it would save my job (& perhaps my marriage) and keep bread on the table.

Anyway, as an aside, the Welsh “Government” are happy to have a bash a running things themselves. For example, they run Cardiff airport and have recently taken over the trains. No doubt they have in mind further power grabs too

Can quite easily see the Swindon decision being reversed if the Japenese find out they have a back door entrance into the USA market via a new trade deal with the USA. Only reason why the plant is closing is the trade deal done between the EU and Japan which makes production outside of Japan pointless for the EU market.
