Another wind turbine company into liquidation

I was informed last week via email that Harbon Wind Turbines Ltd were going into liquidation.

I have a 60Kw machine. Obviously I'm going to have to get another company to take over the maintenance and servicing of it from now on.

Basically just looking for recommendations of who to use?

As I'm guessing alot of people on here have been in the same boat so to speak.

Hello I am another Harbon owner seeking about in the dark for what to do now, as you know with the Harbon we have 2 different sides the electical side majority of which was done and monitored remotley tnen the mechanichal side which would presumebly be easier to get another company to fix and service.

We are fairly familiar with the Harbon turbine and I am hoping to be able to offer all Harbon owners support in the near future. Watch this space.

Hi
We are an Academy that has a Harbon Wind turbine that has not worked since 2018. We are looking at the options of having it removed and wondered if anyone would be interested in purchasing it from us?

When Harbon ceased trading, they turned it off, we have not had it serviced since then. Our feed in tariff was not registered, since starting at the academy in 2018 I have been looking into it and received income back to 2012. I have spoken to Dave Harbon who has confirmed that because the blades that are on this particular model are known to shear that he does not recommend that is used until they are replaced. With a ball park of £42k this is not financial viable for us as over the last 6 years we have only generated £14k as the turbine has had to be controlled under 50 due to where it is situated on our site. (Next to a busy road, a car park and a busy pathway where 1400 students walk)
