Any experience with frass as fertilizer?

First of all, sorry if this is not the right space in the forum.
I saw this post the other day, and I'm wondering if it's true. I have some small pests and this type of fertilizer could help in the soil and pest control.

Any positive experiences with frass? also, any ideas if its too expensive compared with other ones?

Too expensive for farmers but worth trying by amateurs who have little access to better biological products and who pay through the nose for inputs. The theory is sound

I've been told its €0.20-0.25 per KG. But I'm not sure about other fertilizers pricing. I'm new, but seems almost the same. Or the other feritlizers are way cheaper?
