As the title says need to fit suction hose back onto fitting. What’s the easiest way to do it? Last time tried hot water in a bucket, hot air gun but still could only get it half way on hence after 3 years on its decided to fall off in the sh1t! Wondered if there is an easier way to get it back on.

As above.
fairy liquid round fitting, get it started then stand above pipe, on it if you can and use a sledge and a block to knock it in.

Funnily enough I’ve just put 4 new 6”Bauer fittings on to Kanaflex pipe today. I heat it from the inside with a blow torch, a little grease and bang the fitting on floor, it works every time for me

Now Then..
In the past I've found that a large bucket of boiling water is the best. We used to boil water with the gas axe in a 25 litre oil drum with the top cut off !! The heat from it penetrates the whole pipe end and leaves it supple. If the fitting is also warm it stops the hose cooling so fast. Tyre lube helps too..
