There’s a few between these that look really good features. On a greenfield site with money no object anything is possible..

What in particular had you seen in the photos of the eBay link that you liked @ni beilo nawr ?

The proway rotary forcing pen with the gate going upwards and then sliding back down looks incredible!

can't think of any one with the book
know a few guys years ago that made tailing yards with steel gates they were heavy to use that would be my biggest concern about them
for a winter project maybe a good Idea. but know they maybe harder to move. and price of steel. time etc etc maybe. cheeper to. look out for 2nd hand alloy set or. makes some of the yards in steel. and. the more moved areas buy. alloy gates

Likewise, I don't know anyone with the book.
I have the old school Prattley setup and those little steel gates are solid alright!
I only have 12 gates, but just use the corner of a paddock to make most of the yard, as I only have a few sheep.

In weight terms, I'd drag 6 alloy gates easier than 3 smaller steel ones, but I know which ones bend first.

@trewern have a look at these websites.
Personally I would use a lot of sleeved steelwork so that you can adjust pen sizes or remove half of it for shearing/scanning or cleaning up..
