Anyone found alternative supply to empty rappa reels

looking to replace a few spools , we normally use ex mig spools but they are getting old and brittle , so need a few new empty ones ,have some rappa ones as well they are very good but a bit pricey , looking at suppliers in future , we have our own electric winder so within reason exact size is not an issue , I remember back a bit, someone was looking into finding a new source just wondered if anyone followed it up .

Got any fabrication company’s local, should be able to get a good supply of old mig spools, especially if chocolate hobnobs are involved.

yea local fab company now has those wire spools , not so good for electric wire as old plastic ones , dont mind paying for something a bit more substantial
