Reading the Seale Hayne thread - I thought I would start a Bicton thread

I was there 1984 to 1987 on NDAg course

Great times with trips to the Vendee in France for 3 weeks in Year 1 and Denmark in Year 3

Fab times

Here’s our Tutor Group - outside the main house in 1987 - some 34 years ago

Yes I was there from 96-99 doIng an NDA, all gone downhill now, think it started on the downward spiral in the early 2000’s, shame really as had many good times there.

Pre 2000’s it was still rooted in Ag and Horticulture

Since then it’s now a ‘lifestyle’ college

Bums on seats etc

I used to take my girlfriend there when I was at Seale Hayne, lovely gardens with a small train going around it, a few thatched 'summer houses' that we used to take advantage of!
Fancy having to travel that far when all you had to do was walk round the lake......maybe 🤐

You could have ‘jemmied’ a vacant beach hut on Budleigh beach instead
Imagine that ...the bracing sea air,whilst timing your strokes to the rise & fall of the waves crashing onto the pebble beach head
She would’ve have enjoyed that more [emoji6]

Whist on route he would have passed over Woodbury Common , with its remote paths and car parks....

............ and probably be watched by the marines on their covert training exercises !

He was 17........one or two waves and the strokes would be finished ...... :D ;)
