Anyone got a Kramp account ?.

Hi there.
Found the part I think I need but there’s no specs for it, it’s the plastic wing nut that holds the pre cleaner lid on for a JD 3050.
I only need the wing nut, I’ve got the lid and just repainted it !.

This is the only one I can find on the web at kramp but as said no specs so no idea if it’ll fit !.

Have you account with Chandlers or most main dealers, I've had stuff through them through Kramp.

Just be aware Kramp has different sites for different countries.
What you can locate on .com or .de isn't always available to .co.uk.

Yes just noticed it’s German site but part is still on uk site.

Exactly is it 8 or is it 10mm is it even metric !. I know I need 6 or 8mm, not sure if mines a Donaldson pre filter probably is as it’s off a Deere.

Can you not just measure the diameter of the thread. or try a normal nut on the thread?

As I said I know I need 6 or 8mm (I forget right now) as I have a nyloc nut on there now, but I would like a proper wing nut and kramp don’t list the size of it !.

I will check in the morning to see if I have one for the sizes

Can't tell what size of thread it is but my account lists that nut at £1.68
Delivery above that though.

Go to your local nut and bolt specialist, you would be surprised what they stock.

P771457 is available from stock in most Kramp locations, so delivery will be pretty quick. I'll get the dimensions and published in the website.

I’ve seen those, just really wanted the proper thing that clips into the lid. I’ve got one coming from Kramp, £1.87 free delivery so no great loss if it’s not right !.

So got the part, threads wrong as it’s imperial but it’s close enough you can run a metric tap though and it fits perfectly !.
