what parts do you need?
I wonder if Multi power Sam might have an idea.
Hi, it’s the 265 4wd, outer hub with gearing that’s needed. Apparently the 575 has the same axle parts. The Massey serial number for the outer plate is 1423781 r2. The hub serial number is 1423782 r3. Thanks.
@masseybreaker or Ron Greet might have something
how about Dobson of Kendal?? has it been used without oil which has caused failure?? what condition is opposite side??
Tried all main dealers unfortunately no spares available through them, only new. Opposite side is in good working order.
Messaged, thank you.
you say that you tried main dealer and I would think that new price is frightening to say the least!!
do you need 4wd?? possibly the cheapest option would be to fit a 2wd front axle as I am sure you would find one easy, but saying that it might not fit, I am not been very helpful am I !!
You are being helpful!. We live on a hill farm so need the 4wd option. The other option is to replace it with a 2wd and sell it on but it’s a much loved work horse and has been brilliant. Yes the new part price was scary so hopefullly someone somehere will have something.
does the tractor have loader? where about are you approximately??
Yes it does and we’re based Mid Wales near Machynlleth.
Llansilin tractors near Oswestry or Richard Hoyland in Yorkshire
I am not far away for what it's worth!! …. Caersws…. and Llansillan tractors is good place to try and if you are successful do make sure there is oil in the axle first
Try john conaty in slyan park . He ll have that part and will ship it over from ireland to you .
Sorry not sure but u might have to buy the complete front axle for it .
Look on Facebook MF 200,500,300,600,42/4300 series group David Troutt has a 4 wd axle
