You can see people buying this carp in the belief it was some weirdo natural product can't you. It's like when they advertise shampoos containing natural bee juice extract or something. Anything to redecorate the fact it was actually made in a 2 million gallon vat by a bloke called Bob somewhere in Stoke.
Presumably you’re not talking about a supermarket loaf? Otherwise you’d have to mention the soya flour, rapeseed oil, sustainable palm oil, flour treatment agent, sugar and several E numbers…..my view exactly.
however, it uses the word 'farmed', as no one really knows what 'wild' wheat looks like now, probably just about legal, but it's not right.
baker said the price of bread was rising, their flour was going up.
She was horrified when l said milling wheat was £250 ton, or thereabouts.
There isn't much other than flour, and yeast in a loaf, at 2,000 half kilo loaves from a tonne of flour, nudging up towards £5,000 ton/flour.
accept other costs en-route, but.
Not so bad as a pkt of crisps though, expressed in cost of spuds, to value of crisps !
