Anyone using cluster flush and auto dipping clusters?

We’ve had a green oak cluster flush system fitted for around 10 years and it’s needing overhauled if I’m honest..

Got me thinking about the clusters that also put the dip on when the cow is finished.
Basically, are they any good, reliable or a recipe for disaster?

ADF here for about 8 years. Would really miss it now if it wasn't here.
Liners quite dear at £33 set and they need changing at every 2500 milking. Mine cost around £1000 point to install but got a 60% grant towards it which helped considerably.
No major issues with the system.

Do Airwash+ system. ADF try to tie you up every which way possible, chemicals, liners etc. AirWash+ fits into existing cluster units, no tie ups. ADF more expensive as well.. and it's yellow..

Never had any problems with adf that way had to use there dip for 12 months to keep the warranty but that's it after that can use what you want.

We've ADF in for 5yrs now, think it's a good system but gea apollo looks better. We got 60% grant aid too and to be honest now we've got it I'd happily pay an extra 60% for it, had a few issues with manifolds and pipes/connections goin brittle but fairly cheap to replace just abit of a faf

Thanks all, have already been looking at the ADF, local dealers are going to get us a quote but they said around £1k per point.

One question that I have is, what happens with the dip when milking 3 titter cows? Does it just go everywhere inside the cup and the blank end? Or is the blank end fired out by pressure before it flushes out.

Know someone with a 2 year old cluster flush that ended up with FDP issues due to low milk volumes in a spring calving herd.
They turned it off in the end.
Another farm had high iodne in the milk which was traced back to leaky valves.

As with an equipment maintenance is key.
We have Vaccar cluster flushes and have the same problem with FDP. We are currently using 8/16 flushes, if we turn more on we get water in the milk.

The systems have been in use since 2007 and installed comercially since 2009.

We specialise in Cluster flushing systems and as such we pride ourselves on providing a solid reliable product.

I know several members use the system very successfully I could pm you details if you would like.

I notice your Organic, there's quite a few farmers rate our system in antibiotic free export contracts.

Kind regards
