Got a APV ps250 seeder unit with the control box in the attached picture, machine used to have a land wheel for forward speed related metering, unfortunately it got bypassed and was slung in the scrap bin and the machine was used as a fixed speed system. In practice it worked and was accurate enough but I'd really like to put it back to being a variable speed machine but not with a land wheel, we currently run a stocks wizard with a simulated radar pulse being provided from gps units on tractors, which is very very simple to achieve as the stocks gives all wiring info etc. But the apv unit has no wiring info so was wondering if it's possible to do the same to this unit or if we could upgrade the control box to a newer version to except other forms of speed source.
Many thanks.
