Well everyone has their own opinion on what a properly finished lamb should feel/look like...a live to dead would be a big help to you, or take a trip to your local fat mart
I'm in the market weekly selling pigs, have looked but struggle handling a texel x and then comparing it to an easycare. I sell my culls "fat" through the market and they're usually behind everything else in price.

Do you have any livestock agents or farmers co-ops down there? Up here I would try Border Livestock or Stephen Kirkup. Agree a price off the farm that you are happy with. What about Newark or Skipton? I spoke to someone that sold their Easycares fat through the ring at Skipton and was getting well.

That may be true but I've only 150 ewes, I'm not farm assured and I don't know what a properly finished lamb looks like
The biggest problem you've got is farm assurance a lot of the deadweight buyers need them to be assured, as @GTB says they need to go deadweight really, they get the odd easycare lamb in Hereford market as stores and they don't seem to sell badly, what weights would they be at the moment?

I'm not very au fait with easy cares as no one round here keeps them but would imagine once hung up would grade an R probably slightly better... @GTB ?

Have a look at any mule weathers that are in the fat and making decent money and put your hands on them or any horned sheep
