Brought a Hankins Maidwell mounted single leg to go behind our JD7830(205hp) but at a depth of 26" not sure I'll pull it easily all the time! The 60mm of recent rain should help
At 26" it would cut most of our drains in half and ruin the system for the next occupier. 15 to 18 " is deep enough to get to the backfill in my fields. If you dont have suitable land, with suitable drains, and either a) know what you are doing or b) have a drainage plan then you may as well give the £30/ac to charity instead. Have seen some moling done that pretty much just moved rainfall to the lowest points of a field and made a big puddle
I did some work for that price last year with a single leg, didnt get any from same customer this year as he thought it too much, despite it curing most of his wet areas.
Costed the job at £28 per acre, wearing metal on top. Only a fool does it for less IMO, he might be busy but wasting his time.
