You too.

Believe or not Sid is actually quite a reasonable chap and we didn't even disagree on anything.

I did quietly laugh when NFU county chairman introduced you as a producer for Arla's Taw Valley plant.
So did i. But i thought it would have been rude in front of everyone to correct him.

All other milk buyers can only look on as Arla marketing show them how it's done. Makes you wonder where the milk price would be if all milk buyers promoted their farmers milk in a similar way rather than simply sell white water... #MotorHeadDay

It looks very fresh and clean but i see nothing that connects it to a farm or an animal.
We keep on about getting the consumer to connect to agriculture and this in my eyes doesn't.
Maybe packaging isn't the way to connect? People are even getting fed up of social media. We have a huge challenge still.

Are you currently unhappy with the 29ppl +price? I personally think its a more than sustainable price, and its at a level to sustain a good profit but not to encourage the masses opening the taps at the levels we had before, i also beluve at a high price now its a good opportunity for the ones unhappy with the way arla is run to look elsewhere, im very happy with the way things are going and proud to be supplying a farmer owned company

Well their marketing is doing its job extremely well, this promo is a one off designed to attract unlikely consumers from other brands or trade up from cheap milk, and once over they tend to stay. It works as it's marketeers selling milk to consumers not other farmers and part the reason Cravendale fasted growing milk brand in recent yrs.

Seems to me that there is 2 divisions in Arla - the old milk link guys with good bf at the bottom of the uk mostly spring calving happy with their lot and then the rest historically with white water who are not
