I thought you can only take your capital out if you stop milking and end your contract, if two brothers were too split up farming ,and one were too carry on surely the one carrying on would pay the other one out the capital!!

No as long as the business stopped a partner retired and a new business was formed then you would be able to remove your capital. If you are need any help with this, best to contact your ag manager or local bor.

Climate check this morning and R500 data done yesterday.
All interesting stuff and quite enjoyed doing climate check. Pleased with my figures but room for improvement.
Just hope the costs incurred by Arla get some just rewards for our efforts, and the data doesn’t get used as a stick to beat us.

applied for a dribble bar on the small productivity grant scheme so should improve things next year.

climate check is once a year for entering data and there will be a follow up audit at any point over the year. You will not get your result until after the audit.
