Asbestos v Fiber Cement

I have a cattle shed built in 1989. The roof sheeting was new at the time. The Shed was also grant approved, so good quality materials went into it.

The roof is either fiber cement or asbestos. A few sheets got broken in the last storm we have so I have a bit of repair work to do.

Is there any way of telling whether I have fiber cement or asbestos by looking ?

From what I read the only way to tell is by sending off a sample for testing. Anyone any company names or contacts who provide such a service, any idea of cost.

one of our sheds was put up in 1985 and that was fibre cement, i dont think that it was made from about then.
