Presume you've checked all the basics; oil level and filters are good?

So other thoughts...

- No kinks or leaks in any of the control lines going to or from regulator or unloader valve
- the solenoid valve to release air on shutdown is closed and not pissing out copious amounts of air
- the air actuator for the engine injector pump is moving along its full stroke
- the unloader valve on top of the air-end needs to be fully open to get air into the unit. If its closed or partially open it won't make (enough) air or pressure.

Hopefully it hasn’t blown sh!t back into the air end. Won’t do it much good. Check oil is not contaminated and perhaps drop it anyway.

You might also find some grit ends up getting caught in the regulator or some such element, causing things to get sticky or not slide cleanly. So a good strip down of some parts may be needed.
