What are you using?

We will be keeping ours in an alarmed / CCTV covered barn however I cant decide what further security to get - looking at quad clamps or other similar anchors.

I have no doubt that if someone really wants it they will do everything they can to get it but I would like to make it as difficult as possible for them!

When we first bought an atv new in 1998, the only insurers at the time was the NFU. They wouldn't insure it unless evidence was provided that reasonable security measures were taken. This involved having a 1" thick stainless bar bent to a u shape, welded to a plate and bolted to the barn floor, nuts welded up etc, then securing the bike to this with a chain and lock we got from a bikers magazine, it was supposed to resist a grinder for a bit longer, meaning there was more chance of thieves being caught due to more noise etc. Now it's fully covered if stored in an open shed. Chain it to a shed stantion, however these days the cordless grinder has rendered all chains and locks for these things virtually useless. How it's moved on, thieves waking up the whole neighbourhood with a fecking stihl saw to cut a chain, where now it's whipped off quick with a battery powered grinder that your granny could fit in her handbag. Our local serial burglar had an oxy acetylene set you could fit in a rucksack. Like you say, if they want it, they're having it
