Australian British Sausages

Any opinions? Similar to the Makro British New Zealand lamb posted a while back?

The use of 'recipe' twice makes it a bit clearer I think...

It is an Australian company making British style sausages.

Whilst it is "what it says on the tin"(and therefore legally correct), at first glance they do look to be British/Irish and IMHO that is misleading.
Who's selling these?

Going by the requests we get from Aussies living over here, I understand that Beef Sausages are much more popular in Australia than Pork. Since BSE, not much Beef Sausage is made or sold in this country.

I'm worried about this sort of thing, and farmers are the worst culprits!

Aberdeen Angus cattle that have never been north of Cumbria, Jersey cows born & bred in Devon, "mule" ewes (what's that about FFS?) David Brown tractors that are white, the list is endless!

And don't get me started on cream cheese and gentleman farmers--one or they other but can't be both!

It's quite impressive, the way that the Australian firm in the advert is proud of their home produced meat - it's a pity more of our processors don't take the same view of ours.

All the sausages here seem to be made of lamb. Whilst I have no objection, Mrs Cornish is less than impressed!

Yuk! I'd be in agreement with Mrs. C on that one! We've never been asked for those by any Aussies in England! Perhaps they don't miss them either?

i think we should be quite proud of that one I suppose we do have fosters and 4x brewed to their recipe but with our barley also very interesting that they advertise the fact there is no msg,the bad stuff put in take away meals to give flavour
