Auto lube/ nipple bank

has anyone retrofitted an autolube system or run pipes to create a bank of nipples as opposed to having to go and find them all the time?

Machine in question would be a Jcb 320 but if it works then we’d do the same for the matbro

Ok when it works but really you need to do each nipple individually and see grease come out
It's only a ten minute job once a week

Best thing ever, especially on high maintenance very expensive equipment
Both of these ( contracting machines ) have had it fitted. Saves a lot of time.
When you do your daily blow down & inspection, it's easy enough to see the fresh grease & any areas that are missing out. Although, because it is regularly greased & there are no grease nipples to get full of crud or block up, that doesn't appear to be a problem. Every bearing & even the rear axle pivots are connected.
One of the owners ( these are owned by a partnership of 3 farmers ) has them on all his equipment, including a rather large & rather expensive looking JCB loader which will be mainly driven by relatively inexperienced back packers or casual staff.
I cannot rate the Alemlube system highly enough

I have recently fitted a 16 point system to our Houle piston slurry pump, which runs for at least 10 minutes every half hour for 24 hours a day. Hand greasing was not regular enough on the bronze bushes on the flapper valves. I went to https://lubetec.co.uk/ and the whole setup cost about £1000, with me making the hoses from 1/4 hydraulic hose rather than their pipes.

brother did our master drier. copper brake pipe, fitting to go into bearings at one end and nipple fittings at the other end. all made up and mounted on a handily fitted plate. saved a lot of crawling about in dust.

There is only one problem with full autolube and that is if the operators are too lazy to check that it is actually greasing the bearings.
Much better imo is banks of nipples that way you can feel if there are any tight ones that need attention.

we had system fitted to our JCB 418s , does every thing cost about £2800 fitted .
