Auto Steer on JD7530

I have a fuse blowing on Auto steer switch.
It’s ok when switch is unplugged but blows as soon as you plug wires onto switch.
Tried a new switch no difference.

Any ideas please.

I would check the steering sensor wiring hasn’t rubbed.

Is this an autotrac ready tractor running a jd system?

I wouldn’t think the issue is the switch, does it blow the fuse just plugging the switch in or when you hit resume? more likely a fault in the wiring between the switch and the steering controller.

When you plug switch in.
We have just fitted a new seat. So there could be a link with that.

All sorted now cable plugged into wrong connection when seat was changed.
