Why is this a good thing? Sounds like a bloody miserable way to farm!

To me, there’s nothing more miserable than driving up and down a field on a bloody tractor.

If taken in total it could be, but to be freed up from spot spraying / weeding (and avoiding the expense and effort of blanket spraying) etc. would help me.

Looking on Facebook there are pictures of farming and machinery in 80s and 90s in my opinion they were the good times but through progress and a changing world i m afraid the good times are gone .

Farming can be a lonely occupation. With all those robots running about doing the dirty work, you’ve more time to spend socialising, and doing more interesting stuff.
