I think it's a 635.he uses it for mucking out pigs. Got the extra chassis weights on the back.had a demo machine without and it was a bit light on the back also gives a bit more traction on slippery concrete

Hire an Avant 745 about 3 times a year for a couple of days for mucking out. Having never driven a pivot machine before took a bit of getting used to but it's a fantastic machine. Very nimble, well built and definitely punches well above it's weight. The only couple of things which annoy me about it is that there are no proper mudguards on it so when you're mucking out things can get a bit messy and the boom in and out makes a loud bang each time which after a few days gets very annoying, not sure if boom damping is an option. Would buy one tomorrow though if I had a lot of work for it.

I run a weidemann 1350 mini pivot steer loader.
It undertakes all yard work on my dairy and beef farm scraping up and moving straw bales about. Mucks out the smaller sheds the manitou cannot get into very well. Has a decent loading height to allow you to tip grab loads of muck into a 12t trailer. Loads the straw chopper. It's such a handy tool to have about the place. Lifts just over a ton from memory. Build quality superb.

Consider a Norcar also.

We had Avant 530 on demo a few years back. Very nimble and easy to use loader, we had the silage spike grab thingy for it and it just barely managed to move silage bales from field to barn. Probably would've coped well with bale grabs, since the bale would be way closer to the frame. 635 would've been spot on.

We had an avant on a building site recently for moving material out of footings.it was simply brilliant .only thing I did not like was when turning you sit behind the steering pivot on the front half and when steering you swing outside the machine width which seems really weird for a bit but you soon get used to it

The Norcar a7236 looks about the right size for me, but there doesn’t seem to be any dealers near me. The Avant attachment range is also far greater.

Norcar is better in that aspect, as you'll sit on the rear and only the front turns.

Norcar will fit Avant fittings if you want, so all Avant implements will work.
