Morning

Anyone use either of these? Could they act as an EID reader and antenna on a crate to link to a weigh head via bluetooth? How easy is it to input management data at lambing etc?

Sounds great and would save a lot of money if they do the job, I would be interested in feedback if anyone has used either to do these tasks, pm if you prefer. Also do they link to an app on a tablet that would make it easier inputting info?

AWR300 performs as you have indicated. Substitute antenna for weighing, and full management recording facilities for births, tupping, medicines etc. see videos at

Sorry to hijack, but would this also work with a Shearwell stick reader?

I don't see why any Bluetooth enabled stick wouldn't work. But not the management recording side of things since the Shearwell stick doesn't have management recording functions.

Our awl 200 links via blue tooth to an xr5000 works well

My reader links to my phone with the Shearwell app on - the bit I'm struggling with is the reading them through the clamp without having to have the reader in one hand all the time. Have cobbled a few ways of dangling the stick reader near their tags but not found anything that works very well so far.
