Hi everyone,

bit of help needed, does anyone know of anybody that sells new/refurbished/useable fuel tanks for the IH B-275? There’s not much metal left to weld on mine🙄.
Thanks.

It will have to be S/H unfortunately, be aware that 414 ones are longer so won’t fit or match up to bonnet
Secondhand is fine with me as mine is getting more sieve like every week. What I’m hoping to do is get swapped out over winter as the tractor is still earning its keep at the moment. Cheers for the info regarding the 414, is it the same with the 250?

There’s a reputable firm on Ludlow bypass that fixes leaking fuel tank and radiator
I Googled distance between Wrexham and
Ludlow it’s about 60 miles

250 and 275 are usually the same, 414 are about a good inch longer! I have a good 414 one here that was on my 275 for a year or two intill I went to fit bonnet 🙈🙈🙈🙈

I neve really worked out what the differences were but the brackets onto top of bellhousing were at a different angle aswell I think. I just hastily lifted everything off a scrap 414 backend as the brackets etc were much better than mine aswell. You can’t shift the tank back either due to the steering column.

I got fed up with a 655 Digger I had and cut the bottom out of tank and welded a new bottom into tank with a pipe welded in and then spot welded original back on. It wouldn’t be impossible on them tanks either

It’s always the way with me, something looks and fits great…. Until you try to fit something else 🤪
